We call for participation in a new Baltic Earth Working Group on Teleconnection between the North Atlantic and Northern Europe and the Baltic Sea region
An initial meeting is planned, and interested scientists may fill in the doodle by March 17: https://dud-poll.inf.tu-dresden.de/balticearth/
At the meeting, we will select a speaker and a co-speaker, agree on the scope of the working group and then focus on the scientific output. Based on previous discussions, there is much interest in a paper reviewing the current knowledge on teleconnections relevant to Northern Europe. Accordingly, a result of this first meeting could be identifying knowledge gaps and a first outline of a review article with dedicated author teams for the respective chapters.
